Why Choose Legacy Orthodontics?
We realize that you have a choice of orthodontists, and we’re thrilled that you have given us the opportunity to show what our office can do for your smile. But if you’re still shopping around, here are some things you should know about Legacy Orthodontics:
We like to have fun in our office! Both kids and adults will have a great time when they visit us. Our reception area has a video game nook, Internet Café, refreshment bar, and large flat-screen TV, as well as comfortable couches and chairs, a homework corner, and fireplace. We encourage all of our patients to participate in office contests, games, and drawings.
We’re experienced and knowledgeable. Dr. Jeffrey Lombard has had a lot of experience and success in orthodontic treatment. After graduating first in his class from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry, he was selected to attend the orthodontic residency program at Marquette University, where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Dental Science. Dr. Lombard is known for his high attention to detail and careful planning of each patient’s treatment. He believes in doing things right the first time.
We stay on top of the latest technology. Dr. Lombard is a life-long learner and is passionate about the field of orthodontics. He frequently attends continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest orthodontic knowledge and implement the most effective new technology. Legacy Orthodontics is a completely digital office and uses a digital, filmless X-ray machine, which reduces radiation exposure by 70 to 90 percent. We offer the latest in high-tech wires that provide lower force and quicker tooth movement for faster treatment times in fewer visits. Additionally, we offer the latest in clear braces and Invisalign technology.
Sterilization/Infection control. We take pride in our sterilization systems, which meet or exceed the guidelines established by OSHA and the CDC. Our table tops next to the treatment chairs and in the ortho bay are treated with Microban, an antimicrobial agent that provides an additional barrier for your protection.
We’re family-friendly. Our mission is to treat each patient as if they were our own family member. We strive to provide the excellent results you want and outstanding customer service you deserve. Be sure to ask about our discounts for multiple family members.
We’re easy on your budget. Legacy Orthodontics offers exceptional orthodontic treatment with a variety of flexible payment plans, including no down-payment options and up-front payment discounts. We accept and/or file most major insurance providers. We also offer referral bonuses to our patients!
We care about your comfort and your time. Our caring and friendly team will always treat you with courtesy and respect. Our scheduling system ensures timely appointments to keep your visit and treatment on schedule. Our orthodontic bay now boasts semi-private chairs to ensure a relaxing and comfortable office visit.
We believe in educated patients. The best patients are well-informed about their orthodontic treatment, and for that reason we thoroughly explain our treatment plan using digital X-ray images and computerized technology to show how your smile and bite will change through the course of treatment. We encourage you to ask questions and be involved! Parents are invited to join us in the bay if they would like to observe treatment in progress. We also stay in touch with your general dentist to keep them apprised of your treatment and progress.
We look to the future. Sometimes early intervention while your child’s mouth is still growing is necessary to eliminate the need for extractions or jaw surgery in the future, but at the same time it is important to not begin treatment too early so that your child does not spend more time than necessary in braces or other orthodontic appliances. That is why the American Association of Orthodontics recommends regular monitoring, beginning at age 7. Our office is happy to offer our “Growing Grins” program at no cost as a courtesy to our families with young children. Careful and consistent monitoring will help determine when the time is right to begin treatment, if it is needed at all!
